Manage technical accounting matters such as revenue recognition and inventory for a consumer-focused brand.

Prepare the company for audit readiness and establish robust internal control environments.

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance function.

Controller

Key Responsibilities & Duties Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Redesign and automate manual accounting workflows to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

Implement AI-driven tools to modernize accounting operations and enhance productivity.

Develop and deliver standardized financial reports for executive decision-making.

Lead and mentor the accounting team, setting clear standards and fostering professional growth.

Maintain compliance with GAAP standards and address technical accounting matters.

Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and external partners on budgeting, cash management, and audits.

Document policies and procedures to establish a strong internal control environment.

Support the organization’s growth by scaling accounting functions and systems effectively.

Controller

Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field required.

Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.

CPA certification or equivalent public accounting experience strongly preferred.

Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities.

Experience with modern ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet skills.

Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and technical accounting matters.

Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and accountability.

Enthusiasm for adopting new technologies to enhance accounting workflows.

Experience in consumer, beauty, retail, or e-commerce industries is a plus.
