LHH is seeking an experienced Controller for a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This leadership role oversees all aspects of financial management, reporting, compliance, and team supervision. The Controller will drive process improvements, ensure GAAP compliance, and support strategic decision-making alongside senior leadership. This role is hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial reporting, audits, and tax filings
• Oversee accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, revenue recognition
• Strengthen internal controls and optimize financial systems
• Supervise and develop accounting team
• Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and grant reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Proven leadership and strategic thinking skills
