Audit and Tax Intern

• Audit Assistance:
  Assist in performing various stages of audit engagements, including the preparation of engagement letters, execution of fieldwork, and drafting of audit reports.
• Financial Analysis:
  Perform detailed analysis and testing of account balances and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Financial Statement Preparation:
  Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including all necessary notes and other related supporting documents.
• Project Coordination:
  Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to effectively meet time constraints and client deadlines.
• Departmental Support:
  Provide assistance to both the audit and tax departments during any available time, gaining cross-functional experience.

• Background:
  Entry-level professional currently working towards the completion of a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
• Experience:
  
  No prior professional experience required; focus is on educational pursuit in a relevant field.
• Skills:
  
  Ability to work collaboratively with others, foundational understanding of financial analysis and internal controls, and competency in financial statement preparation.
• Bonus:
  An interest in pursuing CPA certification is desired, but not a mandatory requirement for this role.
