Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee payroll, accounts receivable, invoicing, tax compliance, and general accounting operations. This individual will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficient day-to-day accounting processes while partnering with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. This is a hybrid role with 3 days on site and 2 days remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process multi-state payroll for multiple company codes using ADP Workforce Now
• Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance
• File and pay monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax returns
• Create, review, and distribute invoices using Quickbooks Online
• Manage cash application, account reconciliation, and maintenance of customer accounts in Quickbooks Online
• Manage weekly accounts receivables collections
• Oversee year-end employer W2 preparation and planning
• Support state tax planning and compliance
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
• Review and validate all new-hire information
• Ensure timely vendor payments and assist with AP audits
• Approve monthly employee expense reports in SAP Concur
• Collaborate with Operations to resolve invoice, payment, and vendor issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, human resources, or a related field is often preferred
• Strong understanding of technical and GL accounting
• 3-7+ years of payroll experience
• 5-8 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for resolving payroll questions and explaining issues.

Compensation: $45-50/hr

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
