Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Salary: $30–$33 per hour | Temp-to-perm

Location: Queens, NY (Long Island City) | Fully onsite

Job Description:

A large, established facilities management company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a temp-to-permanent opportunity.

This is a high-volume AP role focused on invoice processing, coding, expense review, vendor reconciliations, payment support, and month-end close. The team is looking for someone with strong technical AP experience who is comfortable working in cloud-based systems and managing a fast-paced workload.

• Process and code high volumes of vendor invoices.
• Review supporting documentation and approvals.
• Audit employee expense reports.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding invoice and payment issues.
• Assist with checks, ACH payments, and electronic payment processing.
• Support month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate AP records and reporting.
• Assist with vendor setup and other AP projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2–3+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong high-volume AP experience.
• Experience with invoice coding and review.
• Expense report auditing experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
