Our client is a fast-growing construction company specializing in residential and commercial projects. They're seeking a detail-driven Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financials and ensure accurate, timely reporting across multiple active jobs.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily accounting operations for multiple construction projects
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and identify discrepancies
- Prepare job-cost reports, financial statements, and budget summaries for management
- Track project expenses, vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and change orders
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Work closely with project managers to streamline workflows and improve financial accuracy
- Report directly to the Controller or Senior Financial Analyst
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience — construction or job-costing preferred
- Strong proficiency in Quick Books and modern accounting software
- Proven accuracy, attention to detail, and timely reporting
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
