• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2–5+ years of accounting experience, from Big 4 or internal accounting function, healthcare experience+
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, andmonth-end close.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Quick Books Online or similar accounting software.
• Payroll, employee benefits, 401(k), or healthcare experience is a plus.
• CPA or CPA-track experience is a plus but not required.

• Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Controller / Senior
• Accountant to join our growing finance and accounting team.
• This individual will work closely with the CFO and assist with the day-to-day accounting and
• financial operations of the organization. We are looking for someone with strong accounting
• fundamentals who can take ownership of recurring accounting processes and grow into a larger
• role as the organization expands.

• Assist with the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations,and preparation of financial statements.
• Maintain accurate general ledgers and supporting schedules, including prepaid expenses,accrued expenses, and fixed assets.
• Assist with accounts payable, cash management, bank and credit card reconciliations, and payroll accounting.
• Assist with the administration and reconciliation of employee benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) plans, and other benefit programs.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, audits, tax requests, and other projects led by the CFO.
• Help improve accounting procedures, internal controls, reporting processes, and overall efficiency of the finance department.
