Job Description Overview Lead  financial operations and ensure accurate accounting practices for a prominent organization in the real estate industry.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting and strategic planning initiatives.

Provide analytical insights to support asset management and development projects effectively.

Oversee financial interactions with external property managers and joint venture partners.

Enhance and optimize accounting systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal controls.

Stay updated on evolving GAAP standards and implement best practices in accounting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning with organizational financial goals.

Analyze investor and property-level reports, providing actionable insights for decision-making.

Advise third-party property managers on financial processes and ensure regulatory compliance.

Integrate new properties into accounting systems and workflows seamlessly.

Ensure adherence to internal controls and prepare documentation for audits.

Optimize accounting systems and support tax filings and regulatory reporting requirements.

Conduct lease analyses and evaluate property-level financial performance metrics.

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required; CPA certification is mandatory.
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within real estate or public accounting sectors.

Proficiency in accounting systems; experience with Yardi software is a plus.

Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage and analyze complex data sets effectively.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams.

Self-motivated and adaptable to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and a commitment to staying updated on industry trends.
