Kraus Enterprises Inc is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Queens, NY. • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting activities
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Assist with tax preparation and coordinate with external auditors as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA is a plus
