The Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice in New York seeks a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join its small fiscal team. The role handles day‑to‑day bookkeeping, AP, cash receipts and month‑end close under the supervision of the Controller and Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities include payroll assistance, bank reconciliations, grant expense tracking and coordinating the annual audit and budget processes. Strong Excel/Word skills and nonprofit experience are valued; training provided.
