Contractor Service Administrator (Facilities)

The Contractor Service Administrator is responsible for managing and coordinating multiple service contracts for maintenance of Space
X facilities.
- Manage, coordinate, and act as the liaison for multiple service contracts such as janitorial, DI water systems, pest control, fuel distribution, landscaping, waste management, etc.
- Partner with Purchasing on the RFP/bid process for multiple service contracts
- Coordinate operational schedules for vendors to not affect or slow down the Space
X operation - Work with suppliers to increase efficiency in service delivery
- Ensure vendors meet Space
X, Air Force and NASA standards while delivering promised services, materials, and craftsmanship in the agreed timeframe - Manage the traffic of operational requests and follow through completing of tasks that require support from vendors Space
X engages in continued service contract - Interact with tradesman, contractors and building officials to coordinate and execute maintenance repair of facilities support equipment
- Direct system repairs of Facilities, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, fire protection, water and plumbing infrastructure, paint, and grounds keeping
- Coordinate and facilitate furniture requests to align with site standards
- Manage fleet vehicle requests, insurance, tags and maintenance with automotive shop
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance
- Facilities Management Professional (FMP), Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
- Capability organizing work with multiple trades
- Degree in architecture, engineering, project management, construction management or related field
- Organized and self-driven capable of working independently with little direction
- Innovative and futuristic thinking to drive continuous improvement
- Ability to pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral
- Ability to provide 24x7 on-call support in emergency situations
- Must be comfortable working in a high-stress environment balancing several projects at any given time, and the flexibility to adjust for abrupt changes in strategic direction
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
