Federal Work Study, Student Employee, Housing and Residence Life
The Housing Office Assistants help to manage the day-to-day tasks of the Housing & Residence Life office. Because the Housing Office is a small team, office assistants will support Housing goals by providing front end office coverage, assist with daily tasks such as mail sorting and delivery, management and organization of storage spaces, and other tasks as assigned.
This is a Federal Work Study position. Eligible applicants MUST have received prior approval from the Financial Aid Office. If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact Financial Aid before applying.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Respond to telephone an in-person inquiries with excellent customer service
- Complete daily office tasks, such as mail organization and delivery
- Manage, inventory, and organize storage spaces
- Assist with large scale tasks and event setup
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Applicants must be Federal Work Study eligible (you can confirm your eligibility with a Financial Aid representative)
- Ability to lift objects weighing 25 pounds or below and move short distances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a student leader (Resident Assistant, Peer Navigator, club officer)
- Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently
Additional Information:
Pay Rate: $15.50/hour
Hours per week: Up to 20 hours/week
