Overview

Our client, a storied NYC law firm, is seeking a Professional Development Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis. The position is hybrid and based 4 out of 5 days per week at their office in Midtown, Manhattan.

  • Pay rate: $30-35 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support to the Professional Development department
  • Act as point person for attorney questions about professional development resources
  • Manage department calendar and training schedule
  • Coordinate logistics for training events, such as managing RSVPs, preparing presentation materials, and liaising with catering vendors
  • Maintain detailed records, documents, and Excel spreadsheets
  • Prepare and file compliance documents related to continuing legal education
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-4 years’ administrative experience in a professional services environment
  • Preferred:
    Human Resources and Learning/Development experience
  • Law firm experience, a major plus!
  • Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Top-notch writing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Able to collaborate seamlessly with all levels of employees
