The Facilities Coordinator Role
The Facilities Coordinator at Nomad is responsible for maintaining the efficient and smooth operation of the Nomad office space. This includes cleaning the office, managing food and supply orders, restocking supplies, and ensuring equipment is repaired or replaced as needed. The Facilities Coordinator plays a key role in creating a welcoming and productive work environment at Nomad Offices.
Expected weekly hours: 25-30
$23 - $25 an hour
Key Responsibilities- Manage and execute the cleaning and disinfecting schedule for the Nomad office space.
- Maintain the physical workspace to ensure it remains safe, clean, and functional.
- Receive, manage, and process requests related to cleaning, repairs, and food/office supplies, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
- Maintain inventory of office and food/beverage supplies, including reordering, restocking, and reorganizing as needed.
- Track regular and ad-hoc facility expenses.
- Inspect rooms and furniture to identify and communicate needs for repairs or replacements.
- Ensure activities outside the building—such as proper waste disposal and recycling—are completed.
- Address minor malfunctions in office equipment.
- Manage daily lunch orders.
- Support the expansion and preparation of new office spaces, as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Work experience as a Facilities Coordinator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of facilities management operations
- Familiarity with office equipment and building systems
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace (G Suite) and Slack
- Understanding of safety regulations in office environments
- Strong English communication skills, including clear verbal communication and professional written communication
- Ability to follow and document instructions and procedures in English
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Sound judgment and the ability to think and act quickly in response to issues
- Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to bend, lift, and stretch to maintain equipment and buildings
