Avalon Bay Communities is searching for a dedicated and highly organized Front Desk Manager to oversee the daily operations of the front desk at one of our apartment communities and ensure our residents experience nothing short of luxury living. Responsibilities- Maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere at the front desk, greeting and assisting residents with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a courteous and timely manner.
- Maintain and update front desk procedures and policies.
- Oversee a team of concierge in a scheduling and problem solving capacity.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors on community access and special projects.
- Organize resident events and community outreach.
- A high school diploma or equivalency (GED), bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of multi-family leasing experience or related experience in a hotel, retail or restaurant environment.
- 2 or more years of supervisory or training experience required.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with composure and professionalism.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Mobility to walk the property and maneuver packages/deliveries.
