- Provide programmatic and administrative support to the Program Specialists in the Adult Education (Foundations) area.
- Serve as intake coordinator, providing accurate information on programs and policies, referring members as appropriate, collecting and conducting quality assurance on required documentation, and problem solving member issues.
- Schedule members for classes, liaise with instructors, and organize all logistical aspects of various Adult Education programs.
- Learn the functionalities of the Learner Management System to assist with tracking registration, generating applicant lists, and following up with students.
- Assist with program orientations, and the processing of assessment documentation and test results.
- Complete and submit required paperwork to the Department of Program Administration on a timely basis, ensuring protocols for attendance and other instructional activities are followed.
- Assist Program Specialists in monitoring and tracking program outcomes, attendance, and other data using the internal tracking database.
- Provide quality customer service to members, and accurate and timely information about various programs, the department and the Fund.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or GED required;
College Degree preferred. - Minimum three (3) years of administrative experience, preferably in a general office or adult learning environment.
- Spanish Bilingual required.
- Basic skill level in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
- Knowledge of databases, social media, and online learning platforms preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to work well under deadline pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Ability to travel to various sites in the New York Metropolitan Area required.
