Job Description Based on‑site in our New York City showroom, we are seeking a Business Operations Assistant who will support existing team members to fulfill the varied and changing operational needs of our growing business. This is a new support role created for a detail‑oriented, energetic, flexible individual interested in all the moving parts of luxury home furnishings business. We are a small, tight‑knit entrepreneurial team that thrives on collaboration, and are propelled by a shared passion for Bunny, our brand, the products and where we are going.

This role is on site and reports to our Operations Manager with a dotted line to the Trade Business Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Track / maintain showroom inventory (samples, stock)
  • 3rd party website order processing
  • Assist Operations Manager with returns and claims
  • Shipping logistics support:
    Assigning white glove 3PL carriers; BOL corrections when needed
  • General admin support, managing accurate compilation of all product info into a singular sheet for CS
  • Admin support as needed
  • Send out client samples and inventory orders from showroom
  • Organize and maintain office sample library
  • Create client submittal packages as needed
  • Assist in scheduling follow ups for client presentations
  • Assist with preparing client presentations
  • Answering office phone calls as needed
  • Assisting with events, appointments, and showroom styling
  • Support Trade manager as needed.
  • Creating bills to support Accounting Manager
  • Light support as needed with time permitting

Qualifications

  • 1 – 3 years in showroom/design firm or like business
  • Strong attention to detail is critical
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications
  • Strong Excel knowledge (v lookup, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Ability to multi‑task
  • Flexible nature comfortable with shifting priorities
  • Comfortable learning new technology
  • Strong communication skills
  • Collaborative nature needed
  • Entrepreneurial nature identifying opportunities and creating solutions
  • Ability to sit in front of computer for many hours per day
  • Quick Books and Shopify knowledge a plus, but not mandatory
