As a Technical Assistant you will:
- Deliver exceptional front-line service at our bustling circulation and technology service desks.
- Assist with updating information and data related to Access Services.
- Assistwiththe storage and transfer ofsensitivedocuments.
- Assist with technical operations, library circulation, information services, andmaintaininglibrary materials.
- Assist with generating reports and conducting user engagement surveys to discover usage trends and needs.
- Support library projects and initiatives, ensuring the documentation of library policies, materials and procedures areaccurateand updated regularly.
- Provide administrative support, including screening visitors and calls, relaying messages, and organizing documents.
- Work evening and weekend shifts, ensuring our library serves the community during all operating hours.
- Answer inquiries via email, phone, and in person using original and canned responses.
- Use Alma, our library management system, toassistwith circulation and technology services tasks.
- Help with routine clerical work like shelving books and data entry.
- Other related duties as needed.
- Project management skills are highly encouraged
- Hands-on experience in a dynamic academic library setting.

- Compensation:
The hourly rate is $24. - In-person position with required evening and weekend shifts.
- Position will receive
1040 hoursto be used byJune 30th, 2026. - Part-time position (20 hours per week) with a maximum tenure of1040 hoursper year.
