Location: New York
Macombs is a supportive housing apartment program that opened in 2009 and currently serves 55 people. As such, it has plenty of paperwork and systems to sort and organize. A volunteer would help Macombs run efficiently through administrative work.
Responsibilities- Create excel sheets to keep track of systems and record pertinent information
- Set up appointments
- Filing paperwork
- Writing memos
- Concierge-such as making coffee for tenants and visitors
- Shopping and preparing for events and meetings
- Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of confidentiality
Population Served Homeless, Low-income communities, People with Disabilities
RequirementsAge Minimum (with Adult): 18+ , Minimum Age:18+
