Location: New York

Good Shepherd Services is seeking a dedicated Coordinator of Mission & Values to help animate, deepen, and strengthen our mission, vision, values, and inclusive culture across the organization. In this role, you will support the Director of Mission & Values in fostering a sense of belonging, advancing equity practices, and ensuring that our core values are woven into daily work at every level of the agency.

Division: Mission & Learning

Reports To: Director of Mission & Values

Location: 305 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10001

Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours/week (Exempt)

Salary Range: $54,811 – $60901.51

Support the Director of Mission & Values with:
  • Researching best practices in organizational culture, inclusion, and staff engagement.
  • Designing, administering, and analyzing agency-wide surveys to identify trends and needs related to mission and culture.
  • Creating tools, guides, and materials that help strengthen mission alignment across programs.
  • Representing the Director at meetings, committees, or gatherings as needed.
  • Revamping, updating, and maintaining the internal Mission & Values intranet page.
  • Providing administrative and operational support, including drafting documents, scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and assembling packets or resource tools.
Lead and Support Mission-focused Initiatives
  • Coordinating special events that uplift and reflect the mission, values, and culture of GSS.
  • Developing event-related communications, flyers, and materials.
  • Maintaining the agency-wide calendar of cultural and heritage observances.
  • Supporting special projects as assigned.
Education
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years administrative experience.
  • Technical experience with Microsoft Suite and Canva required. Word Press and Adobe products experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfort with public speaking.
  • Comfortable using video conferencing platforms.
  • Demo nstrated commitment to inclusion, equity, belonging, and cultural humility.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to travel to various Good Shepherd Services program sites when needed.
