Responsibilities
- Budget Management & Accounting
:
Handling financial and accounting tasks. - General Administrative Duties
:
Managing travel arrangements, booking flights and accommodations, and other administrative tasks (including phone correspondence). - Research & Support
:
Assisting the Director with data collection and report preparation on agricultural and livestock trends in North America, government policy updates, and current events. - Coordination with Companies
:
Handling email and phone communications with Japanese and U.S. companies, and scheduling meetings.
- Ability to manage general administrative tasks.
- Attention to detail for tasks such as invoice processing and document management.
- Proficiency in basic office software, including Excel.
- Ability to translate documents (English to Japanese and vice versa), with strong reading comprehension and communication skills in both languages (email and phone correspondence in English required).
- Interest in food.
Occasional weekend work (paid) and business trips to attend food exhibitions in NYC or nearby areas (with flexibility based on your preferences).
