Role: HR Generalist

Pay Rate: $32/hr-$34/hr

Duration:4+ month temp with potential to extend/convert

Location:
Midtown Manhattan, NYC 10038 (5 days a week)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to support recruiting and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes direction well, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Candidate Management:
    • Post open positions on internal platforms, Linked In, and other job boards.
    • Review incoming applications and funnel qualified candidates to the Hiring Manager.
    • Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics, including conference room reservations.
    • Prepare and send candidate communications, including interview confirmations and training schedules.
    • Generate basic offer letters (including address and job description details).
  • Administrative Support:
    • Maintain accurate tracking of open roles and candidates using Microsoft Excel (no ATS in use).
    • Perform general administrative tasks such as ordering food and maintaining the office pantry.
    • Provide additional support to the Hiring Manager and team as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an administrative, recruiting coordination, or HR support role.
  • Experience with Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow direction and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

    Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working in a non-ATS environment using manual tracking systems.
