Job Overview

Job Type: Full-time. Salary: $25.50 to $35.00 per hour.

Work Shift:

Day. Work Days Monday-Friday. Shift Start 8:00 AM Shift End 4:30 PM. Worker Sub-Type:

Job Description

Provides clerical support to management or departmental staff in an accurate and service-oriented communication style. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Experience

No minimum experience required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an administrative/secretarial role, customer service, or business office
  • Experience in database management
Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Certification Summary

No professional certifications required.

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated verbal/written communication, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated skill at typing 50 error-free words per minute
  • Personal computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Windows-based and/or hospital-related database systems and applications
Job Responsibilities
  • Provides clerical support to management or departmental staff by entering information into appropriate computer systems and programs.
  • May perform other general and miscellaneous reception and clerical duties, e.g., filing, mail distribution and collection, faxing documents, scanning, answering telephones, greeting visitors, and other activities as appropriate.
