Opportunity Overview Monterey Medical is seeking qualified independent medical administrative service providers interested in providing occasional clinic coverage services.

The services will primarily be needed when regular clinic personnel are unavailable due to scheduled time off or other staffing needs.

The opportunity involves providing medical reception, administrative support, and examination chaperoning services at a designated Monterey clinic location.

Service opportunities will be offered on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum hours or regularly scheduled assignments. Individuals may accept or decline available coverage opportunities based on their availability.

Scope of Services Depending on the agreed assignment, services may include:

Providing patient reception and check-in assistance.

Coordinating appointments and administrative documentation.

Assisting with patient forms and records processing.

Answering incoming calls and responding to general appointment-related inquiries.

Providing examination chaperoning services when requested and appropriate.

Support administrative communication and clinic work.

Completing agreed administrative services within applicable confidentiality, privacy, and patient safety requirements.

Independent Service Provider Qualifications Demonstrated experience providing medical administrative or comparable professional services.

Ability to provide services independently with appropriate professional judgement.

Experience with medical office operations, patient confidentiality, and administrative documentation.

Ability to satisfy applicable background screening, privacy, security, and patient safety requirements.

Evidence of independently established business or professional practice offering relevant services, where required to support contractor qualification.

Ability to maintain appropriate business records for completed assignments.

Assignment Structure This is an as-needed opportunity intended to provide temporary clinic coverage during employee absences or other staffing needs.

Services will be performed at an assigned Monterey clinic location, with compensation of $20 per hour for services provided.

Monterey will contact individuals when coverage opportunities become available, identifying the requested dates and hours. Individuals may accept or decline assignments based on their availability, with no obligation to accept future opportunities.

Individuals who accept the assignment will provide medical reception, administrative support, and examination chaperoning services consistent with the agreed scope of services and applicable patient safety, confidentiality, and operational requirements.

There are no guaranteed minimum hours, regularly scheduled shifts, or requirements to maintain ongoing availability.
