Ford Autmotive Technician - Clay, NY

Davidson Ford of Clay has immediate openings for a Ford Manufacturer Trained Technician to join our busy service department!

Pay Range: $25 - $40, Flat Rate

Hours:

7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday. Tuesday - Saturday shifts also available.

Sign-on bonus available for qualified technicians based on experience.

• Perform standard vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay up to date with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keeps advisor aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Valid New York State Inspectors License.
• Must have current and valid manufacturer certifications.
• Heating and cooling systems diagnosis and repair.
• Check engine light diagnosis.
• Electrical diagnosis.
• Interior and exterior trim repairs.
• Vehicle module programming and repair.
• Suspension and noise diagnosis and repair.
• Exhaust repair.
• Valid Driver's License required.

• Previous Ford Dealership experience.
• Welding training/experience.
• ASE Certifications.
