Automotive Service Technician - Air Conditioned Shop!

Our car dealership team is rapidly growing and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our Service Center. We are offering a generously paid Service Technician Apprenticeship program, with unparalleled opportunity for gaining practical hands-on experience and career growth opportunities.

We will teach you how to:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership - familiarizing yourself with the service department and procedures
• Assist service advisor in test driving vehicles, and testing components and systems - you will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, climate control, new model training etc.
• Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Take ASE Certification Assessment

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal

• Strong automotive background

• Strong teamwork skills

• Willing to submit to a drug screen& background check

• Must have clean & valid driver's license
