Automotive Technician​/Assistant Manager

Wood’s Automotive Services LLC, located at 7301 Memphis Avenue, Brooklyn, OH 44144 is actively searching for Automotive Technician/Assistant Manager to join our ever-growing small business. Our work week is Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm, with some overtime possible. Based on experience, the compensation could be up to $35/hour, with the possibility of an annual bonus. Yes, you read that right –
up to $35/hour
! Other shops may pay on flat rate, but at Wood’s Automotive, we pay hourly! We are looking for a skilled & motivated technician who has motor oil for blood!

• Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED. Specific automotive technology training is a plus!
• Must have some management experience, particularly great customer services, vendor online catalogs, and shop management software (i.e., Shop Key, Pro Demand, and Mitchell Management).
• Must have ability to multi-task between the office and shop duties.
• At least 5 years of experience working in automotive repair services.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications in Brakes (A5), Steering & Suspension (A4), & Electrical (A6)– additional ASE Certifications will be compensated once obtained.
• Tech-savvy with tablets/laptops; has their own tools to create their workspace, with the ability to purchase additional tools through our vendors.
• Self-starter who works well independently, yet still be able to ask meaningful questions & offer suggestions.
