Automotive Service Advisor

We want you to bring customer service skills to the automotive sales floor. As a Service Advisor, you will greet customers, assess their needs, and recommend services and parts.

• Meet, greet, and service customers promptly and professionally.
• Inspect vehicle and review service history to accurately identify and verify service needs.
• Promote the sale of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by thoroughly understanding product and service requirements.
• Provide accurate cost and time estimates for services recommended, communicate and secure proper authorization from customers.
• Check progress of services to vehicles throughout day and contact customer to communicate and receive approval regarding changes to cost estimate, promised time of delivery or recommended services.
• Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer warranty guidelines.
• Confirm service appointments by telephone the day before customer arrival and conduct post-repair follow up.
• Inspect vehicles prior to each customer delivery to ensure services and/or repairs performed correctly and communicate results with customer.
• Meet requirements of state and federal law for automobile repair and consumer protection.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Company Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.

• Two or more years of previous experience as a service advisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license in state of work and a good driving record.
• Great attitude with high-energy personality.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
• Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
