What You’ll Be Doing as a Regional Training Specialist

As a Regional Training Specialist, you'll be instrumental in driving leasing goals while also championing impactful learning initiatives tailored to your region’s unique needs. You'll serve as both a sales leader and a trainer, ensuring associates are equipped to deliver an exceptional experience that aligns with Related Management Company’s standards and strategic priorities.

  • Execute strategic learning plans to achieve maximum occupancy and revenue targets across assigned properties.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual property tours, highlighting unique features and community amenities to prospective residents.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, corporate housing providers, and other referral partners to generate high-quality leads.
  • Leverage digital marketing platforms, local outreach, and brand tools to drive leasing traffic and grow awareness.
  • Effectively negotiate lease terms and close rental agreements in accordance with company policies and fair housing laws.
  • Provide a high-touch, hospitality-driven customer experience throughout the entire leasing journey.
  • Onboard and train new leasing and office associates, ensuring they are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in their roles from day one.
  • Deliver targeted refresher training sessions for communities that show opportunity for occupancy growth, using performance metrics and business intelligence to guide content.
  • Visit properties within your assigned region to assess leasing effectiveness, customer experience, and brand adherence—then report observations and actionable insights to regional and community leaders.
  • Offer continuous coaching and development for new associates, providing structured support beyond onboarding to reinforce learning and drive engagement.
  • Facilitate the Peer Coach Program, preparing experienced associates to mentor others through structured guidance, accountability, and support.
  • Lead refresher training for the Mystery Shop Program, aligning leasing behaviors with company standards and using shop results to inform learning needs.
  • Contribute to and participate in cultural engagement events, including Sales Rallies, Service Rallies, and team-building initiatives that promote community, recognition, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Support the rollout of new technology or systems by leading change management efforts and facilitating engaging training sessions that ensure user adoption and system proficiency.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of associate development programs including scheduling, logistics, communications, and evaluation.
  • Design and deliver engaging learning experiences using blended methodologies, including in-person, virtual, and on-demand content.
  • Partner with the central Learning and Development team to assess business needs, adapt existing materials, and develop region-specific learning plans.
  • Proactively identify learning gaps and recommend solutions that enhance associate performance and business results.
The Impact You Can Make
  • Associates across your region will consistently perform at high levels in both leasing and customer service, thanks to the comprehensive training and coaching you provide.
  • You will be a driving force behind a culture of learning, performance, and community pride.
  • Your ability to translate insights into action and elevate talent at every level will make you a key strategic partner to regional leaders and company executives.
