Role Overview Aon's Strategy and Technology Group (STG) is seeking an experienced Product Management Leader to accelerate the development of our Pricing and Product Management advisory business focused on clients in the P&C insurance industry. This role will lead client engagements, generate revenue, and build out the Product Management practice within Aon's STG P&C Solutions team.
Key Responsibilities Client Collaboration & Advisory
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering recommendations on product development, pricing strategies, profitable growth initiatives, and performance improvements.
- Lead client engagements from scoping through delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and long-term value.
- Support business development efforts by crafting proposals, presenting thought leadership, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Present analytics findings to executive stakeholders, influencing product strategy and business growth initiatives.
- Partner with underwriting, product, claims, legal, actuarial, and technology teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Promote collaboration across teams to ensure seamless execution of product and profitability strategies.
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement across all areas of the business.
- Drive the adoption of data-driven methodologies for quote funnel analytics, forecasting, customer segmentation monitoring, and opportunity identification.
- Monitor product performance using key metrics such as market share, conversion ratio, retention rate, frequency, severity, loss ratio, and combined ratio.
- Recommend and implement enhancements based on performance data and market shifts.
- Lead the development of commercial, specialty lines and E&S insurance products by identifying market opportunities, analyzing competitor offerings, and gathering client needs.
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with client goals and market conditions.
- Champion innovation in product design and delivery using data-driven insights.
- Ensure all products meet regulatory standards and guide clients through filings and approvals.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies based on data analysis, loss experience, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
- Leverage predictive modeling and analytics to refine pricing and improve risk segmentation.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and advise clients on necessary adjustments.
- Create and leverage competitive intelligence on industry pricing and advise clients on impacts of below or above market pricing.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Implement effective performance management practices and participate in recruitment efforts.
- 15+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry in relevant areas such as product development, product management, regulatory compliance, underwriting or pricing.
- Strong knowledge of P&C insurance products, particularly P&C commercial, specialty, and E&S lines of business.
- Proven leadership in client-facing roles, with a track record of delivering strategic pricing and modeling solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple client projects and collaborate across teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management/Administration, Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, or other analytics related field.
- Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
