Recruitment Consultant – Energy Transition

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth efforts in the high-voltage transmission space. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of grid infrastructure, interconnection processes, and competitive market dynamics. You’ll play a key role in identifying new opportunities, managing regulatory pathways, and driving commercial success across multiple U.S. power markets.

• Design and execute strategies for responding to competitive grid infrastructure solicitations issued by regional transmission organizations.
• Evaluate and develop long-distance transmission concepts using HVDC and HVAC technologies.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of grid connection efforts, including coordination with utilities, regulators, and system operators.
• Lead commercial discussions and support the structuring of agreements tied to transmission development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—engineering, legal, finance, and policy—to align project goals with broader business objectives.
• Represent the company in regulatory, utility, and industry forums.

• 5–7 years of experience in transmission development, grid planning, or related infrastructure strategy roles.
• Proven track record managing competitive bid responses in regulated power markets.
• Deep understanding of interconnection processes, transmission planning, and utility tariff structures.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience negotiating complex infrastructure agreements.
• Familiarity with U.S. power markets such as NYISO, PJM, MISO, or ISO-NE is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams.
