The role you will contribute:

Responsible for overseeing contract review and maintaining rates and terms in designated contract management systems. This position impacts the revenue cycle by ensuring payer accountability and compliance with negotiated contract rates and terms. Tasks include enforcing contract compliance and accountability, ensuring adherence to agreement terms by all parties, and evaluating data trends to report accurate outcomes. This role also communicates opportunities for improvement and growth while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers.

The

Streamlines the contract build, execution, and monitoring of contracts for accurate net revenue estimation.

Monitors the system for data integrity, efficiency, and operation to appropriately escalates issues timely. Ensures centralized repository for contract documents is utilized for accurate and timely document storage.

Assesses workflow processes, identifies gaps, defines necessary process changes, and develops solutions for team.

Maintains mutual understanding of contract terms, expectations, and obligations. Offers real-time visibility into contract status and performance.

Automates workflows where appropriate to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks and errors.

Ensures clear, consistent, and timely communication between all parties.

Provides regular updates and conducts meetings to maintain transparency. Uses collaborative tools to address issues promptly.

Other duties as assigned.

Demonstrates advanced functional knowledge of Epic, applicable third-party solutions, and the Microsoft suite of products.

Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, capturing business needs.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
  • 5 years in healthcare, hospital revenue cycle or payer/provider relations
  • Microsoft Office
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to think analytically
  • Interpret data and financial reports
  • Navigate through various software system
  • Read and understand contracts effectively
  • Convert complex contract language into system outputs for accurate collection activities by Advent Health/PFS Departments
  • Review internal and external operations to find ways to streamline business activities
  • Work independently in the absence of supervision
  • Present and articulate ideas in a concise manner
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Effective team builder with strong leadership qualities
  • Effectively uses organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through
  • Maintain current knowledge, skill and abilities in contract management practices and technologies
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Excellent quantitative, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Financial analysis and Spreadsheet experience
  • Extensive provider reimbursement knowledge
  • Developed skills to analyze, present, and evaluate managed care contract revenue issues
  • Windows Applications Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Patient Accounting knowledge
  • CPT/HCPCS coding knowledge
  • EPIC Credential (EPIC CRED)
