Contract Specialist

VCI is seeking a Contract Specialist to support contract and financial operations. The Contract Specialist role supports pre‑award and post‑award contract actions, ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations and providing expert guidance on contract negotiation, administration, and pricing strategies.

• Review cost proposals and perform price/cost analysis.
• Confer with technical evaluators to determine negotiation positions.
• Support acquisition planning and contract administration per Appendix B deliverables.
• Maintain working knowledge of PWSs, CDRLs, and services acquisition processes (DAFI 63‑138).
• Participate in TIMs, PIMs, and MFTs to provide contract‑related insights.
• Assist in validation and reconciliation of funding allocations and expenditures.
• Maintain documentation for contract files.
• Track and report contract actions in monthly logs and MSRs.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Contract Specialist.
• Deep understanding of FAR, DFARS, and federal contracting principles.
• Experience with contract negotiation and administration in a federal environment.
• Active Secret Clearance.
