Client Relationship Executive, Private Equity

Our KPMG Advisory practice is the fastest‑growing practice in the firm, delivering high‑impact advisory solutions to private‑equity clients. We empower professionals to thrive in a collaborative, team‑driven culture while balancing strategic client needs with long‑term growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Expand relationships within KPMG’s premier Private Equity accounts by targeting Fund Leadership, Investment Professionals, Operating Partners, and C‑suite executives at portfolio companies.
  • Partner with Account and Industry Leadership to identify priority focus areas, drive pipeline development, and cultivate opportunities through to close.
  • Drive collaboration across KPMG’s Private Equity sectors, Service Line leadership, and the Business Development organization.
  • Structure an independent client/opportunity pursuit plan that includes aligning appropriate KPMG professionals and solutions to meet client needs.
  • Build awareness of KPMG solutions within Private Equity Funds and their portfolio companies.
  • Develop deep competency of KPMG’s full suite of services and deliver value through relationship building, matching client/target needs with KPMG solutions.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in business development, sales, and client management within services, including direct sales responsibility in private equity.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience). Minimum of high‑school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience developing and leading relation shipbuilding activities with key economic buyers across the entire C‑suite.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that have resulted in trusted business relationships and measurable results.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to understand complex industry challenges and apply KPMG service offerings to match client needs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment‑based visa sponsorship. KPMG does not sponsor U.S. work visas for this role.
