Location: New York, NY
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, Standard business hours
Salary: DoE

We are seeking an Import Coordinator to support and manage import operations. Some prior import experience is required; however, additional training will be provided for the right candidate. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and familiar with import processes (not sales).

• Coordinate and track import shipments from origin to destination
• Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Review and prepare import documentation for compliance and accuracy
• Monitor shipment timelines and proactively resolve delays or issues
• Maintain updated records within internal systems and databases
• Ensure compliance with import regulations and company procedures
• Assist with problem-solving, documentation discrepancies, and shipment exceptions
• Support general logistics and supply chain operations as needed

• Required: Prior experience in import operations (logistics/import coordination—not sales)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up abilities
• Proficient with basic computer systems and import-related platforms (preferred but not required)
• Willingness to learn and adapt as training is provided
