Company Description
Pardgroup, a leading company in integrated services for retail and large-scale distribution, is seeking a new
Procurement Specialist to join its Procurement team, at the New York offices.
The new colleague, reporting to the Procurement Manager, will carry out the following activities:
- Executing category management strategies to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and expanding a resilient supplier base through proactive global and domestic sourcing;
- Identifying, evaluating, and qualifying new suppliers to strengthen supply continuity, reduce risks, and enhance competitive advantage;
- Leading formal Request for Information, Proposal and Quote processes, while negotiating pricing and contractual terms to secure best-in-class agreements;
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing comprehensive procurement contracts, in alignment with business objectives;
- Collaborating with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to resolve supplier quality and delivery issues using preventive and corrective action methodologies;
- Overseeing Procure-to-Pay activities, monitoring budgets, reporting savings and compliance metrics, and ensuring strict adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate has the following requirements and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge of design, furniture, or similar sectors;
- Proven expertise in negotiation, contracting, PO issuance and vendor performance management;
- Proficiency with major e-procurement and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Quickbooks, Dynamics) and strong competency in financial tracking tools;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
