At Alpha, you will lead engagements to identify and implement solutions for asset and wealth managers. Over the course of each project, you will collect and analyze data, prepare and test hypotheses, and present recommendations to solve unique business & technology challenges.
Responsibilities- Engage stakeholders to drive and lead execution against effective project plans, anticipating potential issues.
- Lead a workstream or component of a project, facilitating client interviews and workshops, performing Excel analysis, synthesizing insights, and developing clear recommendation content.
- Develop meaningful client and vendor relationships, ensuring credibility internally and externally.
- Support Alpha’s broader business evolution, co‑authoring whitepapers and performing market research to identify opportunities.
- Contribute to the wider Alpha community by making innovative, proactive contributions to one or more practice areas.
- Maintain understanding of challenges and trends in Asset & Wealth Management and relevant Alpha practice areas.
- At least 2 years of proven consulting experience at a recognized consulting firm or in‑house consulting/business analyst role at a leading financial institution.
- Experience with in financial services.
- Excellent consulting and problem‑solving skills, familiar with recognized project/change and consulting frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; articulate complex problems and solutions simply and impactfully.
- Proven track record of building and sustaining lasting relationships with team members.
- Appetite to support clients across Alpha’s practice areas.
- Ability to multi‑task and engage in multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Flexibility to travel if required.
