Senior Analyst – Strategic Intelligence

Our client, a global advisory firm, is seeking sharp, curious, and driven individuals to join their growing Strategic Intelligence team.

As a Senior Analyst you’ll work with some of the world’s leading private equity firms, Magic Circle law firms, and largest global companies. You’ll play a key role in supporting project teams throughout our project lifecycle – from researching complex commercial issues and shaping intelligence-gathering strategies, to analysing findings and delivering nuanced insights to clients.

If you enjoy solving problems, thinking critically, and distilling meaningful insights from background noise, we’d love to hear from you.

Role responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst, you will:

  • Conduct qualitative research to support complex due diligence and strategic intelligence projects for clients making high-value investment decisions.
  • Collect and analyse open-source information to assess regulatory and commercial risks, and to build a well-rounded understanding of acquisition targets, counter parties, and the markets in which they operate.
  • Contribute to the development of intelligence-gathering strategies.
  • Engage with a network of external contacts to gather and verify critical information for live mandates.
  • Turn complex findings into clear, concise analysis and draft client reports that directly inform decision‑making at the highest levels.
Skills required:

We’re looking for individuals who combine intellectual rigour with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in investigative work.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A sharp, creative, investigative mindset and an enthusiasm for deep research and analysis.
  • Prior experience using US-focused open-source databases and research techniques is essential; familiarity with investigating Latin American data sources is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong analytical judgement, with the capacity to identify important information and assess its relevance and reliability.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a track record of managing concurrent projects and delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively, to contribute to team culture, and engage with external contacts.
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Fluency in English;
Fluency in Spanish is an advantage.
