Respiris is a founder-led, community-powered coaching marketplace reimagining outplacement. We are building a flexible, fractional opportunity for job search coaches who want to earn supplemental income while making a meaningful impact. This role is not a full-time W-2 position.
As a Respiris Job Search Coach, you will have autonomy to coach in your own style within a supportive ecosystem of tools, peers, and opportunities to grow. The role is part-time, remote, and contract-based (1099).
What You’ll Earn
• $50/hour for client-facing coaching
• 10% commission on partner referrals (e.g., introducing a company that signs a contract may earn a portion of the contract value)
Important Note: You may not be matched with clients for up to 3–6 months. You will be part of a flexible, fractional practice with peer-driven learning opportunities.

What You’ll DoAs a Respiris Job Search Coach, you’ll guide clients through a 90-day, 10-session journey that blends empathy, tools, and action. This includes:
- Guide clients through a structured 90-day, 10-session journey via Google Meet
- Use the Career Prayer to foster self-reflection and strategic action
- Support resume rewrites, Linked In updates, and interview preparation
- Introduce and coach clients on usemotion.ai to manage their job search
- Communicate and collaborate using tools like Slack, Google Docs, and ChatGPT
- Participate in bi-weekly, 30-minute community learning sessions
- Explore tools like Gemini, Gamma, Canva, Replit, and Enhancv
- Refer new clients/companies and earn commission
- Share feedback and help us improve coaching tools and processes
- Contribute to our evolving go-to-market, labor, and community strategies
- You’ve lived through transition: as an impacted employee, a relative of someone impacted by layoff, leading a layoff, or rebuilding after a major personal change (e.g., burnout, divorce, health event)
- Empathy, curiosity, and strong active listening skills
- Experience with coaching or guiding others through performance, career growth, or transitions
- Comfort with tech:
Google Meet, Slack, Docs, and willingness to explore new tools - Availability for bi-weekly capability calls (30 mins)
- Interest in AI, the future of work, and building people-first transitions
- A values-aligned mindset—especially around equity, dignity, and inclusion
- A founder, peer coach or mentor, or builder looking to expand your impact
- A former HRBP, L&D leader, or certified coach
- A fractional HR consultant seeking purpose-driven, flexible coaching work
- A recently impacted professional who wants to pay it forward
- You’ve likely earned a four-year college degree and have a bias for action, reflection, and human connection
- Adaptable across roles and industries
