SummaryAs a YA Regional Consultant, you will provide high quality consulting services relating to property restoration, property defects, casualty, and losses of significance for YA’s customers, which include insurance companies, third‑party adjusters and independent businesses and insureds. YA Regional Consultants are responsible for managing each of our clients’ businesses and operations in defining and controlling costs associated with damaged structures. Regional Consultants are expected to use independent judgement, weighing alternatives when appropriate, and considering the financial and operational significance of the services being performed.
Role& Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and field assessments to evaluate structure and property damage for clients.
- Review and synthesize relevant information to prepare damage estimates, scopes and project reports.
- Manage field work on large, multi‑consultant projects.
- Perform analysis of invoices, budgets, schedules, and reports on behalf of the clients.
- Operate on behalf of clients to monitor and manage timelines, expenses, and other factors critical to operational efficiency and cost management during all phases of construction.
- Communicate and correspond regularly with clients, insurance companies, adjusters, and insureds.
- Lead regular client meetings and support business development initiatives.
- Provide technical oversight and support and management to more junior consultants.
- Maintain job files, documentation, and other relevant deliverables.
- Manage and oversee clients’ interactions, supporting and mentoring junior consultants.
- Provide quality control reviews of junior consultant work product prior to submission to the client.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5‑10+ years of relevant construction, restoration, project management or insurance experience
- Xactimate experience required
- WRT, FSRT, HAAG or other appropriate industry certificates or certifications obtained or in progress
- Ability to travel required
Salary range: $65,000 - $120,000 + bonus opportunity
