Our client, a dynamic and growing PR agency specializing in financial services is seeking a Media Relations professional at the AE-AS level to join their New York-based team. This is a hybrid role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about media strategy and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support media relations programs for a portfolio of financial services clients, including asset managers, fintechs, and institutional investors.
  • Develop strategic media plans and pitch compelling stories to top-tier business, financial, and trade media.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists and editors.
  • Draft and edit press releases, media alerts, messaging documents, and bylined content.
  • Monitor media coverage and provide actionable insights and counsel to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated communications strategies.
Qualifications:
  • 2-6 years of relevant PR experience, preferably within an agency or financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated success securing high-impact media coverage in outlets such as Bloomberg, CNBC, WSJ, Reuters, and other top-tier publications.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach to client service.
