Manager, Strategic Initiatives (Hybrid, New York City)
Open Table, part of Booking Holdings, Inc., is a leader in restaurant technology with 60,000+ partners and 25+ years of experience. The Growth team seeks a strategic individual to drive high‑impact partner initiatives across financial services, loyalty, travel, hospitality, and experiences.
Responsibilities- Strategic Analysis & Planning: Own and deliver comprehensive analyses—including market and industry analysis, competitive assessments, business case development, scenario planning, and pricing analysis—to inform decision‑making.
- Partnership Development: Prospect, evaluate, and negotiate deals with partners that align with company goals and growth objectives; assess proposals, ROI, and provide data‑driven recommendations.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key external partners, collaborating on new opportunities.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership: Collaborate across Sales, Product, Marketing, Design, Legal, and Analytics to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and partnerships.
- Forecasting & Analysis: Build and maintain forecasting models, track and report key performance metrics internally and with partners.
- Data‑Driven Decision Making: Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate opportunities, support strategic decisions, and influence partners.
- BA/BS degree or higher.
- 6+ years of professional experience.
- Experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, strategic partnerships, or business development.
- Track record of launching partnerships that drive growth and enhance brand exposure.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills: forecasting, financial modeling, pricing analysis, market sizing, industry and competitive analysis.
- Strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and actionable recommendations.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and manage ambiguity.
- Attention to detail, self‑motivation, and proactive goal‑setting.
- Experience in consumer technology is a plus.
- Work from anywhere up to 20 days per year.
