About The TeamNew Verticals is an exciting team at Door Dash that is building and scaling new ways to delight our customers beyond restaurant delivery.
Our Catalog, Fulfillment and Logistics team has three major mandates to effectively onboard merchants, fulfill every order with speed & accuracy and improve our logistics network. We are able to do this by identifying efficiencies, building product toolings and launching operational processes will own metrics, pull operational & product levers and drive impactful results across our Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and Retail businesses.
AboutThe Role
We’re looking for an Associate Manager to join our Logistics pod to focus on driving meaningful improvements to our cost, efficiency and quality initiatives. You’ll lead a small, agile pod with a focus on uncovering actionable insights and driving measurable impact—without waiting for perfect data or a full product roadmap. The metrics you’ll impact will be dasher cost, fulfillment cost per order, cancellations, consumer satisfaction and so many more!

- Analyze. You love working with data to drive business decision-making and are familiar with SQL.
- Lead:
You'll spearhead cross‑functional projects, collaborating with Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to develop and implement tech solutions that increase selection across our New Vertical offerings. - Strategize:
You will own and deliver on improving key selection metrics. You’ll create and execute quarterly and annual strategic plans aligned with product capabilities to elevate order quality. - Build:
You will build strategic initiatives and drive innovation across our offerings; this can vary from AI‑powered selection predictions to improving the Cx shopping experience. This means everything from high‑level strategy to operational details.
- You are an operator. You don’t hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you’re also able to think long‑term. You are excited to experience our operation firsthand to inform your strategy.
- You solve problems from first principles. You’re excited to think innovatively, and you resist “this is how it’s always been done” thinking.
- You’re analytical. You possess a sharp analytical mind, and can extract and communicate meaningful insights from data to drive strategic decisions. You are comfortable with SQL and data visualization tools.
- You have 4‑6+ years of experience. You’ve succeeded in high‑performing cultures (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, startups or a related experience).
- You have a completed Bachelor’s Degree.
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job‑related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market‑dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
