Location: New York

DI is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our growing team. This flexible role may be performed remotely or onsite
, depending on business needs and candidate preference. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth across all ground product lines, acquiring new customers, and managing an assigned territory. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, engage with customers to ensure effective utilization of our services, and build strong, long-term relationships through regular virtual and in-person meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth across all ground product lines of business.

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new customer relationships through multiple lead generation strategies.

  • Own and manage the assigned territory with full accountability for performance and growth.

  • Develop and implement General Rate Increase (GRI) and Customer-Specific Pricing (CSP) strategies.

  • Conduct 20+ weekly virtual meetings with customers and prospects to establish and maintain strong relationships.

  • Educate customers on ground product services to ensure understanding and effective utilization.

  • Develop and manage the strategic roadmap for ground product services.

  • Conduct strategic business reviews to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for contract needs, ensuring alignment with company policies and customer requirements.

  • Coordinate and oversee the onboarding process for new customers.

  • Manage sales forecasting and pacing to meet revenue and growth targets.

  • Ensure service quality aligns with customer expectations and internal standards.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.

  • Demonstrated success in identifying and cultivating new customer relationships.

  • Strong knowledge of ground transportation services and market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Willingness to travel as needed (preferred).

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary Range: $145,000 – $185,000 annually, plus monthly performance-based incentives.
