About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Business Credit Repair Analyst to support entrepreneurs and small businesses in strengthening and optimizing their business credit profiles. This role requires deep knowledge of business credit reporting agencies, dispute strategies, lender requirements, and the ability to think strategically about credit positioning—not just correction.
This is a high-impact role for someone who understands that business credit repair is both technical and advisory in nature.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business credit reports from Dun & Bradstreet, Experian Business, and Equifax Business
Identify inaccurate, unverifiable, or damaging trade lines and develop correction strategies
Execute and manage business credit disputes
, updates, and corrections with bureaus and vendors
- Guide businesses through credit profile optimization
, including structure, reporting, and utilization - Track dispute timelines, bureau responses, and outcomes with precision
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, funding, underwriting) to align credit strategy with funding goals
- Educate clients on best practices to maintain and grow strong business credit
- Maintain compliance with applicable credit and consumer protection regulations
To excel in this role, you must bring both technical expertise and strong judgment
:
• Strong working knowledge of:
Business credit reporting agencies (D&B, Experian Business, Equifax Business)
PAYDEX, Intelliscore Plus, Business Credit Risk Score, and related metrics
• Experience with business credit dispute processes and documentation
• Understanding of:
Business entity structures and their impact on credit
Trade lines, reporting cycles, and vendor relationships
Lender underwriting expectations for business credit
• Familiarity with CRM systems and case management tools
Analytical & Problem‑Solving Skills- Ability to interpret complex credit data and identify root issues
- Strategic thinker who can prioritize disputes based on impact
- Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through and documentation habits
- Comfortable managing multiple cases simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy
- Ability to explain credit concepts clearly to business owners
- Professional, confident, and consultative communication style
- Strong written communication for dispute letters and bureau correspondence
- Ability to set realistic expectations and timelines with clients
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in business credit repair, business credit analysis, or related field
- Proven success improving business credit profiles
- Experience working with small business owners or entrepreneurs
- High ethical standards and commitment to compliance
