Job Description

The Senior Analyst provides senior‑level analytical, operational, and business management support to Task Managers, Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), and executive leadership in support of law enforcement operational requirements. The position supports acquisition planning, contract administration, and performance oversight to help ensure services are executed efficiently and in compliance with applicable Federal policies and procedures.

The Senior Analyst assists with translating mission needs into actionable requirements, supporting the development of cost estimates and requisition packages, and coordinating communication throughout the acquisition and execution lifecycle. The role also supports contract monitoring and oversight by collecting, validating, and reporting operational and performance data, supporting administrative audits, and maintaining required entries in Government contract management systems such as the COR Management Tool (CMT).

In support of senior leadership, the Senior Analyst identifies issues, conducts analyses, and develops recommendations that improve business processes, enhance operational effectiveness, and support modernization initiatives. Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Federal contracting principles, and effective written and oral communication skills are essential to success in this role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide senior‑level analytical, operational, and business management support to Task Managers, Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), and executive leadership.
  • Support acquisition planning, contract administration, and requirements processing, including development of cost estimates, requisition packages, and coordination with Federal customers.
  • Perform contract monitoring and oversight by tracking, compiling, and analyzing performance data such as labor hours, compliance metrics, and other contract indicators.
  • Support administrative audits, reviews, and compliance activities related to contract execution.
  • Maintain and update required data in Government contract management systems, including the COR Management Tool (CMT), as applicable.
  • Conduct analyses to identify operational, financial, and contractual issues and develop findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare written reports, summaries, briefings, and other documentation for senior leadership and Federal stakeholders.
  • Apply knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Federal contracting principles to ensure compliant execution of contract requirements.
  • Support business process improvement, organizational development, and operational modernization initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and direction to junior staff as appropriate and support team coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels to facilitate issue resolution and informed decision‑making.
  • Plan, organize, and manage work independently while supporting multiple priorities and deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including:
    • Federal contracting and contract administration support
    • Business management, program analysis, or operational support in a government environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of:
    • Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
    • Contract oversight and performance monitoring
    • Financial and accounting principles as applied to Federal programs
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience preparing analytical reports and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage work independently while supporting multiple priorities.
  • Strong Excel knowledge and skills.
  • Must be able to pass a Public Trust‑level suitability determination.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting law enforcement, security, or protective services organizations or missions.
  • Prior experience providing direct support to senior government leadership (e.g., Regional Director or equivalent).
  • Experience with COR Management Tool (CMT) or similar Federal contract management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting organizational development, process improvement, or modernization initiatives.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and functional requirements.
