Operations Management, AI Business & Operations, Business Intelligence
You are expected to build the company's operating system: use AI agents to automate the boring operational work around the founders, build the internal tools and dashboards the company runs on, define how we plan and execute, and own outcomes rather than coordination. When something is broken, you do not wait for an engineering ticket. You go in, fix it, and automate it so it stays fixed.

You will be Bluefyn's Chief of Staff and will own how the company operates: how we plan, how we execute, how we measure, and how founder time is spent. This is a high-agency builder role at the center of the company, not a coordination position: you own problems end to end, from defining them to shipping the solution, with AI as a core tool rather than a novelty.
As the company grows, you will define the operations function and grow into leading it, while staying hands-on and close to the founders, the numbers, and the work.
- Own the operating rhythm. Define how Bluefyn plans and executes: planning cadence, priorities, weekly reviews, decision records, and follow-through. Make sure plans turn into shipped outcomes and the whole company knows what matters this week.
- Set the metrics layer. Work with the founders to define the north star metric and the supporting metrics for product, revenue, and operations. Build the dashboards, keep the data honest, and make performance visible every week.
- Automate operations with AI. Take over the recurring load around the founders, sales support, events follow-up, hiring, fundraising, and vendors, and build the agents and tools that do it: reporting, meeting notes, CRM hygiene, document generation, and scheduling. Do with agents what previously required a team, ship automations that create step-change leverage rather than incremental improvement, measure the hours returned, and validate every result before it reaches a decision, a candidate, or an investor.
- Go in and fix anything. Pick up the important, ambiguous problems that have no owner yet, market and pricing research, vendor evaluations, legal and compliance coordination, customer onboarding logistics, break them into clear work streams, and drive them to a finished outcome. If a process is broken, fix it and automate it so it stays fixed.
- Run hiring operations. Own the hiring machine across our open founding roles: pipelines, scheduling, candidate experience, references, offers, and onboarding. Keep it fast, high-signal, and worthy of the people we want to hire.
- Support fundraising and investor relations. Keep the metrics, data room, and materials current, prepare founder briefings, and track investor follow-ups so nothing goes cold. Precision here is part of the pitch.
- Build the internal stack. Choose and wire the tools the company runs on: CRM, docs, analytics, automation platforms, and the connections between them. Keep the company legible as it grows.
- Build the future function. Establish operating playbooks that live in tools rather than slide decks, document what must survive beyond your head, and grow into leading Bluefyn's operations.
- 5+ years of high-ownership operating experience. Chief of staff, founder or founding team, Biz Ops, product or revenue operations, or consulting followed by a real operating role, ideally in a fast-moving startup, with a track record of quantifiable business impact.
- Builder-level tooling and data fluency. You are hands-on with APIs, spreadsheets, automation platforms, and dashboards; you can define a metric precisely, pull and check the data yourself, and with AI assistance build and maintain real internal tools that work.
- An AI-native working style. You build with AI, coding agents, LLM APIs, and agentic workflows, for real work, not as a productivity shortcut. You understand orchestration, guardrails, human approval, and common failure modes, and know where automation must stop and human judgment must take over.
- Structured problem-solving without process worship. You break complex, open-ended problems into clear, actionable work streams, move with speed, structure, and strong judgment, and bring just enough process: lightweight, automated where possible, never bureaucracy.
- Excellent written communication. Your updates, briefs, and decision documents are clear, specific, and free of fluff. People can act on what you write.
- Discretion and judgment. You will handle fundraising, hiring, financial, and customer information inside a stealth fintech, and you treat that trust as a…
