Job Description:

The Accelerator Responsible Marketing Senior Activity Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the flawless execution and delivery of responsible marketing practices, ensuring Mars Marketing Code compliance, within the Accelerator portfolio of product launches, brand renovations, commercial initiatives, and market activities across North America.

Acting as the central operational heartbeat across Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Quality/Regulatory, R&D, and Packaging, this role ensures all integration and brand activities are rigorously planned, cross-functionally aligned, and executed against critical milestones, stage-gates, and business objectives.

This role combines disciplined project management and critical-path governance with sharp commercial awareness. The incumbent proactively flags interdependencies and risks, enforces cross-functional accountability, and provides clear visibility of activity health and launch readiness. Operating within a high-pace transformation environment, you will become adept at “influencing without authority” and “managing through ambiguity” to deliver quality growth, pace, and commercial excellence.

This role is a project-based role and has a current expected end date of31stDecember 2027.

What are we looking for?
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in FMCG / CPG, marketing commercialization, product innovation, supply chain, or project management.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% (primarily domestic North America to support regional sales hubs and key customer forums, with occasional international travel).
  • Process Mastery: Deep understanding of the end-to-end Idea-to-Market (I2M) / Stage-Gate lifecycle within physical consumer packaged goods.
  • Priority Setting & Drive for Results: Steadfastly pushes self and cross-functional partners to meet delivery deadlines with high energy and rigor.
  • Influencing Without Authority: Proven ability to build credibility, align diverse stakeholders, and enforce accountability across a matrixed organization.
  • Dealing with Ambiguity: Comfortably operates within evolving project parameters and shifts gears smoothly when business priorities change.
  • Analytical & Commercial Mindset: Understands how operational delays impact top-line revenue, customer relationships, and bottom-line delivery .
  • Process & Detail Discipline: Highly structured and methodical without losing agility; catches details and dependencies before they become escalations.
  • Product Lifecycle Knowledge: Solid understanding of the consumer goods product lifecycle, stage-gate processes (e.g., iPLC), and the interdependencies of commercializing physical products .
  • Project Management Discipline: Proven track record managing complex, fast-paced project schedules and cross-functional teams simultaneously.
  • Systems & Digital Tools: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with project management and workflow software is advantageous.
  • Consumer Goods Industry: Deep experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) is required, with understanding of the North American retail landscape (e.g., Grocery, Mass, Club, Convenience, and Away From Home channels).
