Contract Analyst, Business

SO Aero is a boutique global aviation advisory firm founded by aviation professionals with generational ties to the industry. We serve clients across commercial aviation, business aviation, and general aviation — bringing multidisciplinary expertise and deep global relationships to every engagement.

We are looking for a Contract Research Analyst to provide analytical and research support across both of our practice areas on a project basis. This role suits an MSAF candidate or recent graduate who wants broad exposure to aviation advisory work across multiple sectors.

Analysts at SO Aero provide focused research and analytical support across active engagements, working under the direction of Associates and Partners.

• Support financial modeling and data analysis on active engagements
• Conduct targeted market and industry research as directed
• Assist in the preparation of client deliverables including reports and briefing materials
• Provide ad hoc analytical support across both commercial and BGA practices
• Contribute to data gathering, validation, and quality checking

• Holds or is pursuing an MSAF or equivalent aviation finance credential
• Strong Excel and data skills
• Writes clearly and professionally
• Comfortable working independently to tight deadlines
• Interest in broadening exposure across multiple aviation sectors

This is a project-based contract role. Compensation is commensurate with scope and experience. High-performing analysts will be prioritized for future engagements and will have access to direct mentorship from SO Aero's founding partners.
