Position: Male mentorsupport service provider for a youth
Location: City of White Plains

Make a difference in the life of a teenager today! If you are a compassionate individual or teacher that has worked with children or teenagers, this job may be for you!

Seeking a male service provider who can be a positive role model and support for a 12-year-old struggling with anxiety, ADHD, or other mental health or behavior-related challenges.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children/teenagers and shaping behaviors to improve the quality of life for the child and family.

Duties:
  • Provide guidance, support, and strategies to address the child and family's needs.
  • Follow and implement an individualized plan to address goals for the child and family.
  • Foster a positive relationship with the child to promote growth and development.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the well-being of the child.
    • Skills:
  • Experience in behavior strategies, childcare, special education, or related fields.
  • Strong mentoring and educational skills.
  • Knowledge of child welfare practices and behavioral health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    • Flexible after school hours.

    Compensation rate: $25-$40 an hour, based on experience, education, and skill level.

    Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma; BA is a plus.
